The Custodian is a centralized trusted entity. As such, it is important to de-anonymize the parties operating the Custodian.

The Custodian has 3 balance-holding addresses.

The first address - which exists on the Witnet blockchain - holds all WIT sent to it for the purposes of minting to eWIT. This is known as the Custodian Witnet address.

Note: For security purposes, the Custodian Witnet address may consist of a group of addresses. This spreads out the received WITs across multiple addresses, all of which will be publicly transparent on the blockchain.

The second address is a transit address. It is the address used to receive eWITs that are to be redeemed (and turned into WIT on the Witnet blockchain). This is known as the Custodian eWIT address.

The third address - which exists on the Ethereum blockchain - holds all eWIT that have been minted from the WITs sent to the Custodian Witnet address, less all eWITs that have been burned (and their corresponding WITs removed from the Custodian Witnet address).

This address is known as the eWIT token contract address.

The Max Total Supply listed at [insert hyperlink] represents the total number of eWIT tokens in circulation and matches the amount of WITs stored in the Custodian WIT address. Therefore, the balance in this eWIT token contract address represents the circulating supply of eWIT.
