Why do we need eWIT?

eWIT brings Witnet liquidity to the Ethereum ecosystem.

eWIT brings greater liquidity to the Ethereum ecosystem including decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and financial applications. eWIT brings Witnet liquidity to DEXs and making it possible to use WIT for token trades.

eWIT standardizes WIT to the ERC20 format, allowing for the creation of smart contracts that utilize Witnet. This makes it easier to write smart contracts that integrate WIT transfers.
