Short-term holders (STH) are defined by all UTXOs with a lifespan of less than 155 days.
In comparison to aSOPR, STH-SOPR is less susceptible to sudden spikes/outliers both positive and negative. Generally it provides a more stationary signal over time, closely oscillating around 1.
STH-SOPR > 1 means more short-term investors are selling at a profit.
STH-SOPR < 1 means more short-term investors are selling at a loss.
When STH-SOPR is consistently below 1, it potentially signals a market bottom.
